At present, the four materials used to make stainless steel barrels on the market are generally 201, 202, 304, and 430. However, the characteristics and prices of the four materials are very different.
Among the four materials, 304 stainless steel is better, and the price is also the most expensive. Stainless steel is non-magnetic (or micro-magnetic) for washing vegetables, and it is easy to process.
201 corresponds to the Chinese standard 1Cr17Mn6Ni5N, but domestic 201 cuts corners, which is basically equivalent to 409 (0C12Ti), and has poor corrosion resistance, that is, it is easy to rust, so it is not recommended to use.
202 (1Cr18Mn8Ni5N) can be used, and the vegetable sink will not rust.
304 (0Cr18Ni9) is a widely used high-quality stainless steel with guaranteed quality.
As for 430 (1Cr17, also known as stainless iron), it belongs to the 400 series of stainless steel materials.
