The following is a collection of information about the performance and characteristics of 403 stainless steel.
430 stainless steel is a general-purpose steel with good corrosion resistance, better thermal conductivity than austenite, smaller thermal expansion coefficient than austenite, heat-resistant fatigue, adding stabilizing element titanium, and good mechanical properties of welds. It is used for architectural decoration, fuel burner parts, household appliances, and home appliance parts. 430F is a steel grade with free cutting properties added to 430 steel. Used in automatic lathes, bolts and nuts, etc. 430LX adds Ti or Nb to 430 steel, reduces C content, and improves processability and weldability. Used in hot water tanks, hot water supply systems, sanitary appliances, household durable appliances, bicycle flywheels, etc.

430 Stainless Steel Status:
430 stainless steel has the following states, the state is different, and the dirt resistance and corrosion resistance are also different.
NO.1, 2D, 2B, N0.4, HL, BA, Mirror, and various other surface treatment states.
430 stainless steel surface processing grade Features Processing technology
2D is slightly glossy silver white Hot rolling + annealing shot peening + cold rolling + annealing pickling
2B is silvery white and has better gloss and flatness than 2D surface. Hot rolling + annealing shot peening + cold rolling + annealing and pickling + tempering rolling
No.3 has good gloss and rough grain, polishing and tempering rolling with 100~120 abrasives (JIS R6002) for 2D or 2B
No.4 Good gloss and fine lines Polish and temper rolling with 150~180 abrasives (JIS R6002) for 2D or 2B
HL is silver-grey with hairline streaks. Polish the 2D or 2B with an appropriate particle size abrasive to make the surface continuous.
