Construction process and quality inspection of stainless steel pipe railings

Before the stainless steel pipe railings are constructed on site, corresponding preparations need to be made. After the construction is completed, the construction quality must be inspected to ensure that all indicators meet the standard requirements.

Construction preparations should be made before construction, followed by lofting, blanking, welding installation, grinding, weld inspection and polishing.

The main construction method is to do on-site setting out before construction, and accurately calculate the length of various poles; then accurately cut materials according to the length of various poles, and the allowable deviation of the cutting length of the components is 1mm; secondly, choose the appropriate The welding process, welding rod diameter, welding current, welding speed, etc., are verified through welding process tests; in addition, degreasing and decontamination treatment is required, that is, before welding, check whether the groove and assembly gap meet the requirements, whether the positioning weld is firm, and there must be no traces around the weld. If there is oil stain, otherwise you should use trichlorethylene, benzene, gasoline, neutral detergent or other chemicals to scrub with a fine stainless steel wire brush. If necessary, use an angle grinder to grind and grind out the metal surface before welding.

When welding, thinner stainless steel electrodes (welding wires) and smaller welding currents should be used. During welding, the welding joints between components should be firm, the welds should be full, the welding waves on the metal surface of the welds should be uniform, and there should be no defects such as cracks, slag inclusions, welding nodules, burn-throughs, arc craters, and needle-like pores in the welding area. There must be no spatter; after the rods are welded and assembled, the welds without obvious dents or large protruding weld beads can be polished directly, while the welds with uneven slag or large weld beads should be angle grinded. Grind with a machine, then polish after smoothing. After polishing, the appearance must be smooth and smooth, with no obvious welding marks.

After the construction is completed, corresponding quality standard inspections must be carried out. The specific points are as follows.

First, the cutting of all components should be accurate, and the allowable deviation in component length is 1mm. Before cutting the second component, you must check whether it is straight, otherwise it must be straightened.

Third, when welding, the welding rod or wire should be of a type suitable for the materials being welded, and should have a factory certificate. Components must be positioned accurately during welding. During welding, the welding joints between components should be firm, the welds should be full, and the welding waves on the surface of the welds should be uniform. There should be no undercuts, under-welding, cracks, slag, welding nodules, burn-throughs, arc scratches, or arc craters. and needle-shaped pores and other defects, and there must be no spatter in the welding area. Fourth, after welding is completed, the welding slag must be knocked clean. After the components are welded and assembled, they should be properly ground and polished with handheld tools to make the surface of the stainless steel pipe railings smooth and clean.
