Grinding and polishing process of 8K mirror stainless steel plate

In today's top decoration projects, high-end 8K mirror stainless steel plates are increasingly favored by most designers, especially mirror titanium plates of various colors after reprocessing of 8K stainless steel plates, which have become the main decorative high-end decorative materials. . So what process is used to produce 8K mirror stainless steel plates?

There are two main types of basic stainless steel plates that can be processed into 8K mirror stainless steel plates, one is the matte 2B surface, and the other is the BA surface with higher brightness.

The first step in production is grinding. Grinding is carried out on a grinding wheel with abrasives stuck on it. Bone glue or leather glue is used as a binder on the grinding wheel to bond various abrasives. The purpose of grinding is to remove burrs, blisters, bubbles, weld scars, scratches, corrosion marks, oxide scale and various macro defects on the surface of the stainless steel decorative plate, thereby improving the flatness of the surface and ensuring the quality of the stainless steel project.

After grinding, some blisters and burrs on the surface are no longer too obvious, and then the second process is required, polishing. Polishing methods include: mechanical polishing, chemical polishing and electrochemical polishing. The 8K mirror stainless steel plate is mainly achieved by the second type of chemical polishing.

Chemical polishing is a chemical etching process performed on the surface of metal products under specific conditions. Since the micro-protrusions on the metal surface dissolve much faster in a given solution than the micro-dimples below, the end result is a smooth, shiny surface. This method is suitable for surface polishing of metal products such as steel, iron, copper, aluminum, nickel, zinc, cadmium and their alloys.

After two production processes of grinding and polishing, the bright 8K mirror stainless steel plate is produced.
