How much does a 304 stainless steel plate weigh?

Many times when customers call, they always ask how much each 304 stainless steel plate weighs and how much it costs? This question involves a concept - weight. The actual weight of a single 304 stainless steel plate can only be obtained after weighing it. However, when the customer asked, he could not directly go to the warehouse to pull out a plate and weigh it. That would be too time-consuming, so the theoretical weight of the 304 stainless steel plate was determined. According to the calculation method, the theoretical weight will generally be lighter, but of course this is not absolute. The theoretical weight is mostly extended based on the formula for calculating physical weight, while stainless steel is mainly pipes and plates. The following two types of calculation formulas are mainly shared.

The weighting method of 304 stainless steel plates is: thickness (mm) For example, the weight of two 48-foot-thick (1.22m*2.44m) 304 stainless steel plates can be calculated as follows: 2*1.22*2.44*7.93=47.2kg.

It should be noted here that the above formula only calculates the theoretical weight of the 304 stainless steel plate, not the actual weight, and there will be some deviations. This is just for convenience and can be used as a reference when we usually cannot weigh alone or do not have a weight table.
