What should I do if the cold-rolled stainless steel coil has rust spots?

It stands to reason that cold-rolled stainless steel coils should not have rust spots, but in some environments such as salt, seaside, chemical plants and other environments, it is also easy to rust. Do we have a good way to remove the rust spots on the surface of the product? I introduce two methods:

1. Mechanical methods

Cold-rolled stainless steel coils show signs of rust in humid environments and in acid-alkali environments. Sandblasting, ceramsite blasting, glass and other products are used for cleaning, brushing and polishing. This method can only remove the rust spots on the surface of the product, but cannot improve the corrosion resistance of the product itself, so after cleaning, it needs to be re-polished and sealed.

2. Chemical methods

By using pickling paste or other spray aids, this method can re-enhance the corrosion resistance of stainless steel coils, because pickling will cause chromium oxide to form on the surface of the product, but in order to avoid leaving residues on the surface, it is necessary to pickle Rinse with clean water afterwards.

In addition, if the rust spots are not serious, you can also use oil and gasoline to mix and wipe with a rag.
