Low temperature has a great influence on the physical properties of sus standard 2B surface 309s ss stainless steel pipe, and can affect the scope of its use.
The changes at low temperature mainly include the following three aspects:
1. Mechanical properties
The modulus of elasticity is a major performance aspect of this product. At room temperature, its elastic modulus is in the range of more than 180kN/mm2, but in a low temperature environment, its elastic modulus will gradually decrease, and the range of change will become smaller after reaching an extreme value.
2. Thermodynamic properties
At extremely low temperatures, the thermal conductivity of various sus standard 2B surface 309s ss stainless steel pipes does not change much, about 1/50. However, the thermal conductivity increases as the magnetic flux (magnetic flux density) increases. Therefore, one can change the magnetic flux, thereby affecting its thermal conductivity, and ultimately expanding its use.
3. Electromagnetic properties
Resistivity is a way of expressing electromagnetic properties. The temperature has a great influence on the electromagnetic performance. In the low temperature environment, the resistivity will drop sharply, but after reaching the extremely low temperature, there will be no major changes.
