A: Yes. Our PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) coatings are highly durable, UV-resistant, and provide additional barrier protection. They withstand 1000+ hours salt spray testing. However, for continuous high-temperature (>350°C) or abrasive environments, we recommend plain finish for maximum longevity.
A: Welding will discolor or burn off the PVD coating in the heat-affected zone. We recommend welding first, then applying coating, or masking weld areas during coating. Post-weld touch-up kits in matching colors are available upon request.
